Synopsis
Romantic musical set in the South Seas during World War II, filled with glorious Rodgers & Hammerstein songs ("Bali Ha'i may call you...") that will make you feel "younger than springtime." Navy nurse Mitzi Gaynor is "a cockeyed optimist" who's "in love with a wonderful guy" (French plantation owner Rosanno Brazzi). ("Some enchanted evening, you may see a stranger...")
